I had always wanted to dine here (living in Randwick for the past few years... I walk past all the time) I've always heard wonderful reviews, so on friday my boyfriend decided as our anniversary present to each other we would do the 5 course degustation menu with the Matching wines ($130) ($85 without wine)

the overall experience was devine! perfect service and atmosphere. When the staff know what they are talking about is always freshing and the enviroment was classy but warm... not pretentious. The food quanity was just right, a small tasting of such a variety of dishes. The Duck and the Venison were definitely a highlight.
A big bonus for this year is that the sydney entertainment book has a $50 discount for Balzac, so overall the price X experience = fantastic dining experience.
